Does GHPC offer riding lessons to the public?
We are not a riding school and do not offer lessons to the public. As a pony club, lessons are available only to members or invited guests who have their own horse or lease horse. To participate, you must be a member of Pony Club Australia. Members can also arrange lessons with insured instructors on our club grounds. If you are looking for riding lessons and don't own a horse, we highly recommend using Google to find a safe and knowledgeable riding school near you.

Does GHPC offer horse agistment?
Yes, agistment is available exclusively for GHPC members and is allocated based on availability. Priority is given to active members who meet the club's participation requirements. Please contact us to discuss current availability and how to qualify.

Can you join GHPC without a horse?
Absolutely! You don't need to own a horse to join our club. We offer social memberships that allow you to participate in non-riding activities and events, making it a great way to get involved and meet other members. For aspiring riders without a horse, this is an excellent opportunity to learn about pony club life, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and build your knowledge while you prepare for horse ownership. We warmly welcome young riders to come along, meet our friendly members, and see what our club is all about!

Do you lease horses?
The club does not provide horses for lease or offer riding lessons. However, you are welcome to join if you have access to a lease horse. We are a private facility operated under PCA rules and regulations. A formal lease form is required to participate in club activities and competitions.

Do you hold competitions?
Yes! We hold 2-3 official competitions per year as well as clinics open to all current pony club members. Please see Events and Info page.

Do you hire your facilities?
Yes, our facilities can be available for hire for lessons and clinics, subject to club approval and availability. Please note that the hirer must be a current Pony Club member. For further details, including pricing and booking requirements, please contact the club directly.

Do you hold pony camps and birthday parties?
We do not offer pony camps or birthday parties to the public. Participation in our pony camp days and musters is limited to current PCQ members who bring their own horse/lease horse.
